For most, money is the main issue. And I get it—we’re living in challenging times, and we want to be mindful of how we spend our resources. It makes sense to be wise with money.
But let me ask you a more important question: How much is being stuck actually costing you? In what ways does delaying your healing serve you?
Think about it—being unproductive at work, struggling to enjoy life, facing health challenges, staying in toxic relationships, feeling empty or unfulfilled, constantly exhausted, trapped in emotional pain, unable to move forward—and the list goes on. Doesn’t that sound like a liability to you?
And what happens when you don’t deal with the real issues? You find ways to cope—retail therapy, booze, unhealthy food, spiritual bypassing, addictions. I even know someone who goes to the spa every other day only to experience temporary relief. The bottom line? It’s costing you more.
The truth is, you could have avoided this—or at least shortened your suffering—simply by saying yes to healing. In practical terms, you would have saved far more money and time by choosing long-term solutions instead of temporary fixes.
So the next time you hesitate to invest in your healing, think of it as just that—an investment, not an expense. You are the most important investment you will ever make. When you are in a healed state, you become highly effective in everything you do and the world becomes a little better because of you.
